Our day begins…After picking you up we go on a short drive to get to our departure point. Here we hop on a tractor cart that takes us up hill to a panoramic viewpoint.  Having seen our objective in the distance we start a trek down a jungle staircase. Halfway down we reach a high suspension bridge that needs to be conquered to continue.  The trail leads us further down the huge canyon that was shaped by a volcanic mega eruption. Coming to the end of the canyon the spectacular La Fortuna waterfall awaits you. Be amazed by the lush vegetation on its 70mtr high walls, the huge Vulcanic rocks at its foot and the amount of water splashing down in its massive pool. We take time to bask in its beauty and the brave ones can go out and take a super refreshing dip. Getting back to the viewpoint we walk down to the little village of the Maluku Indians. Seated in their Palenke (main house) we enjoy a rest while listening to an interesting story about their culture, art and history. Having been active for some hours the moment has come to enjoy a warm typical lunch. Next to the restaurant there is a butterfly garden and frog pond you can explore till food is served. Reenergized we take a 15minute ride to the park at the foot of the Arenal volcano. We start on a trail through primary forest where you can see big trees with huge roots. Besides a variety of birds the forest is host to Monkeys as well as Sloth´s and Coati’s. Out of the forest, we cross farmland till we get to a green lake. Passing a cemetery of the eruption victims we reach the wall of Lava from the ´68 eruption. Going up some steep steps we arrive on top of the huge mass of lava rocks. Following a trail that is cut out through the rocks we climb our way up the slopes of the Arenal. Reaching the highest Viewpoint that exist around the Volcano we can absorb the most spectacular panoramic views. Looking around it just gets better, Lake Arenal, Jungle, the Valley, Lava fields and most of all the  Arenal that towering over you     To finish the tour in the most relaxing way, you will be taken to the natural hotspring resort. You can relax in its soothing warm water for about an hour and you can enjoy a complementary cocktail.  Around 7pm we will take you back to your hotel.

Ensillar y hacer su camino en un caballo a la impresionante cascada de La Fortuna es una experiencia memorable. Un recorrido toma alrededor de tres horas de las cuales va a ser alrededor de 2 horas a caballo. O tienes la opcion en otro tour en una propiedad privada al pie del volcán par admirar su imprecionante magnitud y al final pasar un rato relajante en las aguas termales.

Un recorrido relajante por la naturaleza para personas de todas las edades. Tomaremos un transporte durante hora y media en coche al norte de la Fortuna para encontramos con la reserva de humedales de Caño Negro. Una vez allí haremos un viaje en barco durante 2½ horas através de su río principal. Este tour es perfecto para ver a los animales. Es probable ver caimanes, tortugas, diferentes tipos de monos, perezosos, iguanas gigantes y una gran variedad de aves tropicales y acuáticas. Y al final degustar de un tipico almuerzo costarricese

Let us take you on a hiking adventure through the Mountains that lay between La Fortuna and the cloud Forest of Monteverde. After an exciting river crossing, we follow the Caño Negro river through a beautiful valley Going gets tougher when we leave the river behind us and make our way into the mountains. Under the cover of the big trees we follow an old trail only used by locals. Hiking at this afternoon hour we have a good chance of seeing wildlife.    Leaving the forest after about tree hours, we reach an amazing viewpoint. Trees that are full ecosystems, lush farmland, the cloudy Mountains, the Arenal lake and volcano merge into a breathtaking panorama.    With the sun setting we go down a steep trail that take us into a completely secluded valley. Having seen our destination on the far flank of the mountain we take a last dash to our shelter for the night. This rustic wooden cabin and the wide jungle and volcano views it offers will leave you amazed.    At this remote paradise we are fully disconnected and experience, back to basic mountain style living. Getting settled we join to prepare a wood stove meal. At the candle lit large table we sit to enjoy the food, the company and the experience till the inevitable fatigue sends us to our bunks.      Early in the morning we have a good typical breakfast and a shower with fresh mountain water. Reenergized we hike our way out of the valley. Getting to the main trail we either hike our way towards Santa Elena/Monteverde or you can have a horse waiting for you and ride there. On this last part of our experience you hike/ride over the Costa Rican countryside roads surrounded by spectacular cloud forest. After not seeing any other person for about 20 hours we slowly make our way back into civilization. Getting to Santa Elena we take you to the place where your luggage is waiting for you. Concluding our adventure, we thank you for the pleasure of sharing this beautiful experience with you.

La mejor manera de conocer la selva desde otro punto de vista es ir caminando sobre los puentes colgantes. Que abarcan grandes distancias a alturas impresionantes que conviven cara a cara con los habitantes de los árboles más altos. La caminata es de 3 kilómetros, y también le dará excelentes vistas del volcanes y del entorno.

Cerca de La Fortuna hay algunos de los mejores ríos de rafting en aguas bravas del mundo. Lo mejor de rafting se puede hacer en el Sarapiquí, el Toro y el río Balsa. Hay clase 2/3 de rafting para los que no quieren ir demasiado salvaje y clase 3.4 para los que quieren sentir la adrenalina. Los tours incluyen todo el equipo y el almuerzo. Los horarios de salida varían dependiendo de la clase.

A dos horas en coche de La Fortuna se visita el Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio. Después de algo de senderismo vamos a llegar al Río Celeste. El color celeste que se puede ver es el resultado de una reacción química entre dos ríos que se fusionan con contenidos minerales distintos. Es un fenómeno muy raro que crea una bellesa de cuento de hadas. La caminata en sí es de dificultad media y dura alrededor de 4 horas. Durante este tiempo se le llevará a una cascada, un mirador y el lugar donde el río cambia de color. Con la ayuda de la guía hay una buena posibilidad de ver la vida silvestre. Después de la caminata tendremos un tipico almuerzo costarricense y comenzamos nuestro viaje de regreso a la Fortuna.

Todo el lujo y la relajación que usted se merece. Además de ser bueno para su bienestar también cuenta con gran cantidad de diversión. Toboganes, cuevas sauna, exuberantes jardines tropicales, comida, bares mojado y la música lo convierten en el lugar perfecto para relajarse. Ahorre dinero para conseguir la entrada junto con una o dos comidas.

La mejor manera de acercarse al volcán Arenal, disfrutar de un paseo por la selva y visitar el río de agua termal. Iniciamos a las 14:00 nuestro transporte pasara por usted a su hotel y tomaremos camino al otro lado del volcán. Durante este viaje de 45 minutos podra ver el Arenal desde diferentes ángulos. . Comenzamos nuestra visita en el punto mas alto de observacion. Aquí disfrutamos de la vista panorámica del volcán y el Lago Arenal. Caminamos por los jardines y bosques para cruzar dos puentes colgantes y visitar catarata y el rio Danta. En el camino su guía explicara sobre el ecosistema y los animales se pueden ver. Entre otros a menudo vemos monos y aves tropicales. En el Observatorio con su museo informativo donde se explicara más sobre el volcán y su historia. Terminamos la caminata en el albergue Observatorio para ver el atardecer sobre el lago Arenal. En nuestro viaje en coche desde el Observatorio vamos a tratar de encontrar la rana arbórea de ojos rojos. Para terminar el recorrido de la manera más relajante te llevamos al río de agua termal natural. Nos relajamos en sus calidas aguas durante aproximadamente una hora y se puede disfrutar de una mascarilla de lodo volcánico y un cóctel complementario de licor nacional. A eso de las 20:00 estaras de vuelta en tu hotel

Si quieres ir de Fortuna a Monteverde, o viceversa, hay un tipo de forma eficaz y divertida de hacer eso. Reserva la conexión de autobús-barco-autobús con servicio de puerta en puerta. Un autobús te lleva hasta el lago Arenal, donde un barco le espera para cruzar el lago. En la otra orilla del lago un autobús estará allí le llevará a su hotel.
