Rafting

Near to La Fortuna there are some of the world's finest whitewater rafting rivers. The best rafting can be done on the Sarapiqui, the Pacuare and the Balsa river. There is class 2/3 rafting for the ones that don't want to go too wild and class 3/4 for the ones that do. All Rafting companies we work whith follow the highest safety measures and the tours include all gear and lunch. Departure times vary depending on the class.
1:15 minutes aprox. drive to the starting point, fresh fruits on the river, you will recive your equipment and instructions to prepare you for the most wonderfull and funny 2 1/2 hours on the water; 9.5 milles of a wonder experience, at the end of the water ride and after you change your clothe will drive you to Finca Don Juan, an educatinal walk in a farm where you will be served with a nice costarican lunch . returning around 4:00 pm to your hotel.
